Admission is a $5 donation to local charity, Sparkle of Hope, funding much-needed patient care and research for women whose lives have been touched by gynecologic cancers. While you shop for a cause you’ll be able to talk with physicians and cancer survivors from Sparkle of Hope! The UW School of Medicine and Public Health’s Division of Gynecology Oncology in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, in collaboration with the UW Carbone Cancer Center, is Wisconsin’s largest gynecologic oncology team. They offer patients state-of-the-art care in diagnosis and treating gynecologic cancer. Your donations invest in cutting-edge gynecologic cancer research focused on early detection and on finding ways to manipulate the immune system to fight cancer. Your investment enables our researchers to develop new methods for diagnosing, treating and preventing cancer.
Sparkle of Hope will also be holding their annual benefit dinner on Friday, September 30 at 6pm. We encourage you to get to know Sparkle of Hope at Greenway Station’s Ladies’ Night Out event and consider joining them again in September for a uniquely exciting and entertaining evening.
