Kids’ Day at the Farmers’ Market!

August 16, 2017

The Middleton Public Library is excited to return to the Greenway Station Farmers’ Market Kids’ Day Event on Thursday, October 5th from 8-1pm. You won’t want to miss the craft activities, storytime, Library Princess meet and greet, outdoor games, children’s books to borrow, the majestic pumpkin tower, plus all of the yummy things the farmers are selling at the market.

The Kids’ Day event starts at 8am and the first 400 kids to attend the Farmer’s Market that day will receive a free cookie and mini gourd to decorate at the library’s booth. We’ll have lots of stickers and markers kids can use to create their own unique gourd. We can’t wait to see your creations!

We’ll also bring hula hoops, zoom sliders, hopscotch, stacking cones, and other outdoor games for kids to explore. Then at 10am, Miss Lori will lead a Laura Numeroff themed If You Give a Mouse a Cookie Story time that’s sure to be morsels of fun! After story time, kids can create their own pretend cookie to enjoy year round. Stick around until 11am to meet our Library Princess. Take a photo with her if you like or tell her about your favorite book. We’ll even have some princess and fall themed books available for checkout…don’t forget to bring your library card!

Library staff, volunteers, and the library princess can’t wait to attend this year’s Greenway Station’s Kids’ Day event on Thursday October 5th from 8-1pm. We hope to see you there!
